Aaida completed her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from McMaster University in 2022. She was first involved in the Bhatia lab as a co-op and research student, focusing on characterizing the role of mesenchymal stem cells in AML. Upon graduation, she has been working in the Bhatia lab as a technician, taking care of lab operations and logistics, and helping in various projects. She loves being a part of the spectacular research conducted in the Bhatia lab and hopes to continue her involvement in academia through future higher education. 

 

Aaida enjoys live concerts, escape rooms, board games and critiquing movies and tv shows.
